{"id":147361,"date":"2026-01-13T15:12:18","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T20:12:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/?p=147361"},"modified":"2026-01-13T15:12:20","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T20:12:20","slug":"crossfit-velites-2026-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/crossfit-velites-2026-games\/","title":{"rendered":"CrossFit Renews Velites Deal for 2026 Games After Replacing Reebok &amp; Nobull"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-spanish-activewear-and-gear-brand-will-once-again-serve-as-the-official-apparel-and-footwear-partner-at-crossfit-s-biggest-stage\">The Spanish activewear and gear brand will once again serve as the official apparel and footwear partner at CrossFit&#8217;s biggest stage<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Velites is stepping deeper into CrossFit\u2019s inner circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fast-growing European performance brand has been named the official apparel, footwear, grips and jump rope partner of the 2026 CrossFit Games,<a href=\"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/velites-becomes-official-grip-jump-rope-of-the-crossfit-games\/\"> expanding on its partnership from last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal sets Velites as the outfitter of choice for athletes, teams, staff, media and on-site personnel when the CrossFit Games head to San Jose, California, this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2015 in Spain, <a href=\"https:\/\/usa.velitessport.com\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Velites<\/a> has carved out a niche by designing gear specifically for athletic training, cutting its teeth with jump ropes before evolving into footwear, grips and performance apparel. The brand has also made investments into athlete testing and product R&amp;D to meet the rigors of <a href=\"https:\/\/games.crossfit.com\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">CrossFit<\/a> training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move follows CrossFit&#8217;s overhaul of its partnerships strategy under Greg Schwartz, its vice president of global partnerships,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/why-crossfit-has-signed-so-many-new-partners\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">who has taken cues from major U.S. pro sports leagues.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When CrossFit first tapped Velites as its official footwear and apparel partner in 2025, it marked a notable shift away from legacy giants like Reebok and Nobull, part of a broader push to elevate emerging global brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOne of the things that drove us to that partnership is Velites\u2019 reach overseas,\u201d Schwartz told ATN last June. \u201cThey\u2019re very well known internationally, but here in the States, they\u2019re not as recognized. Both sides saw this as a chance to make a real splash.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expanded partnership also stretches beyond the Games floor.
