{"id":146760,"date":"2026-01-05T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/?p=146760"},"modified":"2026-01-05T12:44:20","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T17:44:20","slug":"shake-shack-high-protein-menu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/shake-shack-high-protein-menu\/","title":{"rendered":"Shake Shack Joins In on America&#8217;s Protein Craze"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-popular-burger-chain-has-introduced-new-high-protein-menu-items-joining-brands-like-chipotle-and-starbucks-in-catering-to-protein-obsessed-consumers-in-the-u-s\"><strong>The popular burger chain has introduced new high-protein menu items, joining brands like Chipotle and Starbucks in catering to protein-obsessed consumers in the U.S.<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2026, Shake Shack has declared \u201csame shack, new stack.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fast-casual chain best known for its burgers and crinkle-cut fries is the latest dining brand catering to the wellness-minded consumer (<a href=\"https:\/\/athletechnews.com\/glp-1-use-doubles-across-america-heres-whos-taking-them-gallup-poll\/\">and the growing number of GLP-1 users<\/a>) with the launch of its new Good Fit Menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lineup reworks <a href=\"https:\/\/shakeshack.com\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Shake Shack<\/a>\u2019s menu staples into lighter, high-protein options for all, including gluten-free diners, vegetarians and consumers using weight-loss medications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The menu spans lettuce-wrapped versions of the ShackBurger and Chicken Shack, a gluten-free double beef burger served on a gluten-free bun, and a vegetarian double veggie burger made with farro and quinoa, alongside lettuce-wrapped SmokeShacks and Double Avocado Bacon Burgers.
